Former SHOOTYZ GROOVE Members Reunite In DEAD FLY SYNDROME

Former SHOOTYZ GROOVE members Dose (drums and electronics),Donny (guitars and backing vocals),and Paul (bass, formerly known as Freaklove) have teamed up with vocalist Mike Diamond in a new band called DEAD FLY SYNDROME. The band are currently mixing a six-song demo at their Shadowlab studios and will begin shopping it to record labels shortly in hopes of releasing a debut album by the end of 2003.

The track "Transgressions" will be featured in the new Brian DePalma film Femme Fatale, starring Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and Antonio Banderas, which is set for theatrical release on November 8th through Warner Bros.

According to Dose, "we have been working on this project for the better half of two years since the break up of SHOOTYZ GROOVE. We plan to have a web site up soon, but in the meantime you can check shootyzgroove.com for updates and we even have 'Transgressions' up for download."
